Melissa began teaching at the Primary level in 2012. She comes from the Atlanta AMI training and professional development center, having been drawn to Montessori education for her own children by the pedagogy’s profound respect for each child. Melissa’s dedication to teaching is fueled when she witnesses moments of genuine compassion and empathy between children, emblematic of the Montessori foundation of peace and dignity for each member of society.
