When should I apply to Omni?

We recommend starting the admissions process about a year in advance.

Children are eligible for Omni's Primary Program around age three. Our curriculum is not a traditional "preschool" program but rather a three-year accredited educational journey. It’s best for parents to contact us after their child’s second birthday to begin the process.

Can my child transfer to Omni if they don't have prior Montessori experience?

While most Omni students join us at the age of 3 or transfer from other Montessori environments, we do accept students without prior Montessori experience on a limited basis.

 When space is available, we carefully evaluate whether a Montessori environment will be beneficial for both the child and the class.

Can I submit paper forms instead of enrolling online?

All enrollment must be done online via Family Portal (visit factsmgt.com). This platform allows you to access family records, forms, and directory. If you have trouble with online enrollment, please contact Hannah Earnhardt.

When should I apply for financial aid (2027-2028 school year)?

• For returning students, the deadline for submitting financial aid applications and tax returns is February 1, 2027. Award decisions will be communicated during the re-enrollment period.
• For new students, the deadline for applications and tax returns is March 1, 2027. Financial aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Immunization Policy

If enrolled, the school requires an up-to-date vaccination record for all students.

Required vaccines:
- Five DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Whooping Cough)
- Four OPV (Oral Polio Vaccine)
- Two Measles 
- One Rubella (between 12 and 16 months)
- Two Mumps
- Two Chick Pox (Varicella)
- Hib (Haemophilus Influenzae) (if born after October 1, 1998) 
- Three Hepatitis B (not required for persons born prior to July 1, 1994)
- Four Pneumococcal (not required for persons born prior to July 1, 2015)
- Two Meningococcal

Medical Exemption (G.S. 130A-156) – An exemption allowed for medical reasons when an
immunization is or may be harmful to a child for a specific reason. Valid medical exemption shall be written by a licensed physician.
 

Religious Exemption (G.S. 130A-157) – Parents or guardians who have bona fide religious beliefs contrary to the immunization requirements of North Carolina must submit a written statement of such beliefs and opposition to the requirements for the student’s permanent record.
