Cultural

The Primary cultural curriculum helps children develop a broad context for their lives and an appreciation for our rich and diverse planet. It is an integrated curriculum, encompassing geography, history, biology, botany and other science exploration. Students explore the natural and physical world through map-making, classification cards, science experiments and many other hands-on experiences. Children explore how people live in other parts of the world. They learn about continents, countries, and states, as well as mountain ranges, bodies of water, and animal habitats. Learning not only about the people, but the plants and animals in other geographical locations helps the child become a global member of society. Omni children learn about the cultures of the world not only from lessons but from Omni peers and parents who share their cultural heritage, language, food, and traditions in the classroom.
