
A spring fund-raising event is fast becoming a tradition at Omni Montessori School. Funds raised from the event are used to help maintain the beautiful main campus that provides a peaceful, green setting for students, to continue outfitting the new Activity Center and Land Lab, and to ensure that Omni’s high-quality staff and faculty continue to be fairly compensated.
The school has hosted a variety of themes for the auction, from The World Around Us in 2009, a festive evening featuring international cuisine, silent and live auctions, to 2011's C'est la Fete de Mardi Gras, a grand Cajun affair to rival the best New Orleans celebration. Every year, the event involves virtually everyone within the Omni community – parents, teachers, alumni, and students who make art projects to be auctioned.
