Tanya Polon is a math and science teacher who is committed to a hands-on and community-based approach to education.
Tanya's background includes teaching high school physics, chemistry, and biology. She has worked as a biologist for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and as an adventure team leader. Tanya has completed the AMI Orientation to Montessori Adolescent studies. What she enjoys most about teaching are the "ah-ha" moments experienced by students.
Tanya has also dedicated herself to starting and coaching Omni’s Ladies Field Hockey team.
