Tanya Polon is a math and science teacher who is committed to a hands-on and community-based approach to education.

Tanya's background includes teaching high school physics, chemistry, and biology. She has worked as a biologist for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and as an adventure team leader. What she enjoys most about teaching are the "ah-ha" moments experienced by students.
