Pennies for Peace

The Outreach Committee in Mrs. G's class is doing a Pennies for Peace campaign. By participating in Pennies for Peace you make a positive impact on a global scale, one penny at a time. While a penny is worth very little, in impoverished countries a penny buys a pencil and opens the door to literacy. Pennies for Peace gives a lasting hope to children half a world away! There will be jars in each classroom for collecting money and we will be handling the money and writing a check to Pennies for Peace when we are finished. This campaign began on September 8 and ends October 30. We have set a goal for of $200 and we would very much appreciate your help. Thank you!
